Linen Purificator (Napkin)

This beautiful white Purificator is made of 100% Linen.

The cloth is simply hemmed and decorated with a small cross.

Dimensions:  18 cm (7") x 18 cm (7") small

Purificators are folded in thirds and placed over the chalice and under the paten. These small linens are the most frequently laundered of all the linens in liturgical use. Purificators are used to clean out the chalice and paten after communion.  Purificators are washed most often by hand in the Sacristry following the service.

A beautiful addition to a Communion Set or Communion Table.
